Basketball, Basketball, Basketball...

First things first... Let me get my pride out of the way and declare that the object that was knocked down in my front yard two nights ago is in fact called a Basketball Goal. See the following link; http://overstocks.basketballgoalstore.com/?c=slamdunk&gclid=CL-X6t3a1ZECFQISYQodXVmLZA. Well maybe you don't even need to pull up the website, just note the name is Basketball Goal Store... Thank you very much Ashley and Kelly. Just so you know they do sell hoops as well which as far as I can tell is the top part of the goal.

Next, how about those suns?! Yes, I know we had a loss last night but overall played a great game. I am feeling like we are going to get ourselves a championship this year!! I know many of you have been skeptical about Shaq but I really think this is going to be just what we need to win this season. Now if we can just figure out how to either defend the Lakers or outscore them...

Go Suns!!!

I still don't believe you. I don't think its really a basketball goal.

Asking whether it's called a hoop or a goal is like asking which bear is best. Answer: It's debatable. There are basically 2 schools of thought...I have just never heard anyone else in the basketball community call it a goal. I've heard stand, backboard, hoop, standard, rim, iron, rack, hole and so on, but never goal. Maybe basketball is a little different in New Mexico... ;)
I say tomato, you say tomahto. I say Pop Tart, you say toaster pastry. It's all good!

As for the Suns, I think they played great last night over all and am hopeful that Shaq can shake off the months of bench sitting and really help us win some games. As long as he can stay healthy, I think it could be a good thing. It's being able to keep him injury free that has me so concerned. If this doesn't work out, Coach D. is going to be fired, which I think would be a HUGE mistake, so forgive me for being skeptical.

Hey, I'm great with calling it goal, and since you are so tall, the next time we all play ball together (since we do it so often these days!) you are going to be the "Goalie"!!! (This is my new term for "center" )
Didn't Shaq do a great job as Goalie last night???
I LOVE LOVE LOVE YOU ZEDRA!!!
